Natural Remedies for Anxiety

Maven Crew more than 28.8% of Americans will suffer from anxiety in their lifetime. The the highest level in the world. In the US more than $42 billion is spent annually on anxiety disorders. And $22.8 billion of that goes towards addressing anxiety symptoms that mimic physical illnesses. As women we make up 12.7 million of those that suffer from phobias which is the the most common form of anxiety.

Maven Crew we may have family members or we ourselves may experience anxiety and are being treated for it. Don't be ashamed or scared it's life and in life we have to look for ways of battling this issues buy purchasing medications or using natural remedies. In this article I will highlight some quick and simple natural remedies for anxiety as well as include the definition of anxiety.

Maven Crew we all have those days. Went to work, rough day, off work running picking the kids up from school and now its time to prepare dinner after dinner we finally have a moment to relax but that rushing feeling hit you. You feel drained, anxious, nervous and cant settle in. Do these things to calm down and relax.

1. Chew on crushed ice.
2. Drink a glass of Chamomile Tea
3. Breathe in some Lavender scents (if available). Or do some breathing exercises.
4. Add L-lysine to your diet.
5. On your lunch breaks & breaks at work try to go outside. Take in natural sunlight for 15 minutes at least 3 times a week.
6. On your lunch breaks & breaks take a little walk around the work parking lot.
7. B6 or Magnesium supplements.
8. Read a nice book. Try Understanding Your Potential by Dr. Myles Munroe
9. Drawing while taking in some in scents smokes.
10. Take a nice bath include candles, Epsom salt or bath crystals.
I hope these help lighten your day and relax you. As always this is an informational piece and never use this in place of your doctors orders.
But including these along with those doctors orders will be a double plus.


Anxiety is an emotion characterized by an unpleasant state of inner turmoil, often accompanied by nervous behavior, such as pacing back and forth, somatic complaints, and rumination. It is the subjectively unpleasant feelings of dread over anticipated events, such as the feeling of imminent death.

Anxiety is not the same as fear, which is a response to a real or perceived immediate threat, whereas anxiety is the expectation of future threat.

Anxiety is a feeling of uneasiness and worry, usually generalized and unfocused as an overreaction to a situation that is only subjectively seen as menacing. It is often accompanied by muscular tension, restlessness, fatigue and problems in concentration. Anxiety can be appropriate, but when experienced regularly the individual may suffer from an anxiety disorder.
